LONDON, UK. April 17th 2017: Publicis LifeBrands creatives Tom Wordley and Jon Webb will represent the UK at this year’s Young Cannes Lions Print competition at the 65th International Festival of Creativity in Cannes.
This prestigious competition is open only to a shortlist of talented creatives who win their national-level tournament. The UK event is hosted each year by the Guardian. In just 24 hours entrants have to showcase their creative skills by producing a stand-out print advertisement based on a charity brief; this year’s charity was DePaul UK who help young people affected by homelessness.
Shaheed Peera, Executive Creative Director for Publicis LifeBrands said. “We believe that we have the best talent in the industry and the right infrastructure to develop superstars. This is a lovely result of all that hard work. Everyone in healthcare can be incredibly proud that for the first time in Young Lions history we are representing the best of the UK’s young creative talent.”
Tom and Jon are the first healthcare creatives to win the UK Young Lions event and will be competing in Cannes during 18th–22nd June.
